Scrap Yard Fire In Roseland Damages 9 Vehicles

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A fire in the lot of a Roseland scrap yard Tuesday left nine vehicles damaged on the Far South Side.

Officers responded to reports of a fire about 2:50 a.m. in the 300 block of East 115th Street, Chicago police said. When they arrived, they found nine vehicles had sustained fire damage at the scrap yard.

No injuries were reported in the blaze, police said. The cause of the fire is unknown.
