Water leaked onto the eastbound side of Touhy between Lincoln and Kostner avenues, Lincolnwood police said. That section of road was temporarily closed.
Crews were able to slow the leak and open one lane of eastbound traffic for the morning commute, police said. Crews would begin to repair the break after the morning rush hour.
Expect delays in #Lincolnwood near the intersection of Touhy and Lincoln with a water main break, but traffic is getting through the area. #Traffic #ChicagoTraffic @WBBMNewsradio https://t.co/vBup4ShPkv
