“After a year and a half these HAPPY kiddos are BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!! New school. New beginnings. This fam is feeling very blessed,” Simpson wrote to Instagram.
Simpson, who also shares 2-year-old Birdie Mae with husband Eric Johnson, transitioned her children to remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ten months into the pandemic, Simpson took to Instagram with a post about how she's faring trying to parent while being stuck at home all the time.
"The maze of quarantine holiday Motherhood has knocked me on my butt...well for the next 5 mins at least. Ha," Simpson wrote alongside a tired selfie.
In March, the star revealed that she previously tested positive for the virus.
"This past year has been especially intense for me and so many of you. I started writing this essay on the same day I received a positive test result for COVID-19," Simpson wrote on her Instagram story. She did not go into any further details of when she tested positive, or her health battle with the virus.
"I decided instead of being driven by fear, I would manifest a hopeful conversation with you," she continued. "I felt strong, resilient, and God- inspired through my pen teaching me as I was sharing with you ways to get to the other side of fear."
