BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) – A tradition familiar to all Western New Yorkers returns Tuesday: Paczki Day.
Thousands of massive jelly donuts will be sold on Tuesday, including at Broadway Market.
Last year, Broadway Market ran out of paczki’s after only a few hours. This year, Babcia’s Pierogi will sell the donuts and they hope they sell nearly as quick as they did last year.
“Hopefully they’ll last past noon but I’m hoping we do run out by the end of the day,” owner Linda Lund told WBEN.
Babcia’s Pierogi doe sn’t make the paczki’s inside the Broadway Market, though Lund entrusted her cousin to make 6,000 for Western New Yorkers to enjoy on Fat Tuesday.
Babcia’s Pierogi is open on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
