Orchard Park, NY (WBEN) As the Buffalo Bills gear up for their season opener at the New York Jets Sunday, bars near New Era Field are also finalizing their game plans.
At O'Neill's, owner Peggy Cerrone says she's learned a few tricks of the trade in her nine years. 'We've fine tuned it, so we know to have a limited menu, because our kitchen is small, and it can't handle a big volume. Then, our employees have been here for years, so we know how to get our game faces on and get ready," says Cerrone. There are two must haves at O'Neill's. "12 cases of wings and 50 cases of beer, and making sure you enough of everything in stock" are the norm for game days, according to Cerrone.
He says the home game is quite the different animal than road games. "The place will be open from 10am to 7pm if they lose, maybe a little bit later if they win, if you know what I mean," notes Duffek.
