ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WBEN/AP) — After going undrafted in all seven rounds of the NFL Draft, former University at Buffalo Bulls quarterback Tyree Jackson will reportedly sign with the Buffalo Bills.  Jackson will likely compete for a backup spot with Derek Anderson and Matt Barkley, behind starter Josh Allen.

Undrafted Buffalo QB Tyree Jackson reached agreement with the Buffalo Bills on a deal that includes $75,000 guaranteed, per source. So some of the sting of not being drafted is softened by getting to stay home and to compete for the Bills' No. 2 QB job.

Meanwhile, the Bills completed the NFL draft by selecting four players, starting with Florida linebacker Vosean Joseph in the fifth round.

The Bills were relegated to filling depth needs Saturday, a day after trading their two fourth-round selections to move up and select Mississippi tight end Dawson Knox in the third round. Buffalo also traded a fifth-round pick to move up two spots and select Oklahoma offensive tackle Cody Ford at No. 38.

Joseph was selected 147th overall, and ranked ninth among SEC players with 93 tackles as a junior last year.

Buffalo closed the draft by selecting Boston College tight end Tommy Sweeney with the 225th overall pick. Sweeney had 99 catches for 1,281 yards and 10 touchdowns in 38 games.
