As far as how high the bidding can go, "it's a gameday decision by the seller to decide what they will or won't accept for a price. I think they'd be better off to get it off the books now rather than not accept a bid that comes up and try to sell it down the road a bit," notes Hamberger.
With tenants already there, Hamberger says the buyer should keep them. "I think a new operator would be crazy to try and evict anybody there paying their rent. You can easily work around the tenants who are still there," notes Hamberger.
