Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A Buffalo man has been sentenced to prison for his role in the death of his girlfriend's step grandfather.
20-year-old Romaine Jirdon will serve 20 years in prison after admitting to beating and stabbing 58-year-old Thomas Heath of Buffalo inside Heath's West Ferry Street home in November 2017.
Jirdon's co-defendant pleaded guilty to Murder in the Second Degree last month. Alexandria Heath, 18, of Buffalo is scheduled to be sentenced on January 25, 2019 at 2 p.m. She faces a maximum of 20 years to life in prison.
