BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Buffalo Broadcasters Association announced its six newest members of the Hall of Fame.

The six are Buffalo Bills play-by-play broadcaster, John Murphy, WGRZ General Manager Jim Toellner, Buffalo native and Detroit broadcaster Sherry Margolis, former investigative reporter Tony Farina, the late former program director for WGR Larry Anderson, and Entercom's Director of Results, Don Tomasulo.

Murphy spent several years at WBEN as a sports director from 1984 to 1992.

"I think about all the great people I worked with like Van Miller and Stan Baron," Murphy told WBEN. "They're icons in broadcasting and at WBEN Radio. It's kind of overwhelming. You think to yourself, 'Do I belong in this group'?"

Tomasulo, who works in sales for WBEN and its sister stations as its Director of Results, said he's excited to be recognized for his behind-the-scenes work.

"We try to help keep everybody running," he said. "Thank goodness we are out there helping our clients and getting commercials on the air. What you put on the air is fantastic and we hope to take care of our clients so that they can help pay our bills and help keep us all on the air."
