Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A Buffalo man will spend the next 20 years in prison for a deadly shooting last year.
18-year-old Damoni Alexander admitted to being the triggerman in the September 29, 2018 shooting of 20 year old Brandon Williams on Lisbon Avenue. While Alexander admitted to pulling the trigger, his co-defendant, 19-year-old Anthony Moore, provided Alexander with the weapon and urged him to shoot Williams during a verbal altercation.
Alexander pleaded guilty to one count of Manslaughter in the First Degree, a Class "B" violent felony, on March 27, 2019. Moore also pleaded guilty to the same charge for his role in the crime on August 23, 2019.
