Niagara Falls, NY (WBEN) Niagara Falls Police are investigating the discovery of a body Saturday night in a burned car. Authorities say that the body was burned beyond recognition as crews were dispatched for a vehicle fire at the Hooker Docks area on Buffalo Avenue at about 9:00 p.m. Police say that DNA testing will be required to identify the victim. Detectives are also asking anyone with knowledge of the incident or saw a black, Dodge Ram pick-up truck in that area last night to contact investigators at 286-4533.
