BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - Businesses in Erie County can qualify for up to $10,000 in grant money to offset costs associated with coronavirus.
The Erie County Industrial Development Agency approved the grant program on Wednesday. Businesses can use the money to cover costs for personal protective equipment purchases dating back to the start of the pandemic. The money can also can be used future PPE expenses, and for other measures taken to ensure social distancing.
State law allowed the ECIDA to take $500,000 from their general fund to create the emergency grant program.
