Amherst, NY (WBEN) Amherst Police are investigating the cause of an accident Sunday after a car slammed into a house on Eggert Road. Police say that a vehicle driven by 89-year-old, Margery Cole of Amherst was traveling Northbound on Eggert road just before 9:00 a.m. The vehicle left the road and struck a home at 1513 Eggert causing extensive damage. Luckily no one in the home was injured and Cole was taken to ECMC with injuries described as non-life threatening.
