Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A former Clymer teacher pleads guilty to possession of child pornography involving a prepubescent minor.
60 year old Scott Aikens admitted to investigators executing a search warrant at his home he viewed child pornography and that child pornography would be found on his laptop computer. Investigators seized the laptop and other electronic devices, which were found to contain a total of 683 videos and 22 images of child pornography.
Prosecutors say some of the child pornography depicted minors less than 12 years of age, and some of the child pornography possessed by the defendant contained violent images.
At the time of his arrest, the Aikens was a 7-12 grade school teacher with the Clymer Central School District.
He'll be sentenced in October, where he faces up to 20 years in prison.
