Corrections Officer Charged with Inappropriate Relations with Inmates

Albion, NY (WBEN) State Police say a corrections officer is now on the other side of prison bars, charged with sexual assault of two inmates at Albion Correctional Facility.

Troopers say David F. Stupnick, 26 of Medina, is charged with 4 counts of Sex Abuse 2nd Degree, 2 counts each of Criminal Sex Act 3rd Degree and Official Misconduct.


State Police say they received an ongoing investigation from NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Office of Special Investigations with Stupnick having inappropriate sexual relations with two female inmates at Albion Correctional Facility.  Stupnick is a Correction Officer at Albion Correctional Facility.Stupnick was processed at SP Batavia and issued Appearance Tickets for the town of Albion Court in June 2019.
