Buffalo, NY (WBEN) The special election drama in the vacant NY27 Congressional district came to a head on the Republican side this past weekend with the eight county Republican party chairs formally endorsing Senator Chris Jacobs.

Now it will be soon when a Democrat is officially nominated in NY27. And all eyes and bets seem to be on former Grand Island Supervisor Nate McMurray.

Saturday, Chris Jacobs received the GOP nomination to run in the April 28th special election.
