Tonawanda, N.Y. (WBEN) - Efforts to make a difference were readily visible across Buffalo and Western New York on Earth Day Monday. The Entercom Radio staff, parent company of WBEN, was out in force in Ellicott Creek Park planting dozens of trees to replace the aging tree population in the popular park.
Dozens of Enterom workers put down their smartphones and computers for the day, rolled up their sleeves, and joined Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper in a tree planting effort in the park.
