Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A nurse at ECMC is charged with stealing prescription medication.
Prosecutors say 45-year-old Andrew Grzeskowiak made false entries in patient medical records on multiple occasions to fraudulently obtain various prescriptions while employed as a registered nurse at ECMC between June and September of last year.
Grzeskowiak is scheduled to return on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. for a pre-trial conference. He remains released on his own recognizance.
He is charged with:
- Two counts of Falsifying Business Records in the Second Degree, Class "A" misdemeanors
- One count of Obtain Controlled Substance/Prescription by Fraud, a Class "A" misdemeanor
- One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a Class "A" misdemeanor
