Empire Emergency announces expansion in Niagara Falls

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WBEN) - Empire Emergency, a company that outfits vehicles for first responders across New York State and Pennsylvania, announced its expansion along Lockport Road in Niagara Falls.

Wednesday's announcement from CEO Mike McLaughlin means the company will go from 13,000 square feet to 23,000 square feet.

"When we created this company in 2006, our goal was to really meet the needs of all first responders throughout New York and beyond," he said. "To give them the vehicle and apparatus they need to safely do their job. These folks do their job everyday, day in and day out, and they don't need to second-guess the quality of the apparatus they are running with."

At least 16 jobs will be created through the company's expansion.
