BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - As Erie County cases of coronavirus continue to increase, the county unveiled new data on their heat map which separates confirmed coronavirus cases by zip code.
There are currently 1,148 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Erie County. Among the total cases, 30 people have died and 173 people have recovered. There are still 214 people in the hospital.
Some of the notable hotspots in the region include:
- Buffalo: 86 cases in zip code 14215
- Amherst: 69 cases in zip code 14221
- Hamburg: 56 cases in zip code 14075
- Buffalo: 38 cases in zip code 14220
