The new deaths include a 67-year-old man, 73-year-old man, 88-year-old man, and a 74-year-old woman. All of them had an underlying health condition.

"We certainly extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to the families of the deceased," Niagara County Legislative Chairwoman Rebecca Wydysh said.

All told, 253 people have contracted coronavirus, an increase of 15 from Thursday. There are 122 people who have recovered from the disease, though 24 remain in the hospital. The remainder of the positive cases are recovering at home.

There are 1,112 people who were tested for coronavirus in Niagara County.
