BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Gerard Place Community Center held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday morning.
The $6 million project received $1.5 million in funding from the Buffalo Billion.
"If we can continue to support programs like this that nurture and embrace children in their youngest years up to adulthood and give them life skills like training in practical careers like culinary arts and nursing and other programs, then it's a success," Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul said.
