Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Buffalo's bid for federal funding to continue the Cars Sharing Main Street project hit a bump in the road last week, as the US Department of Transportation rejected the city's application for a $25 million dollar BUILD grant.

Higgins says the rejection brings up another issue. "The federal government isn't doing an infrastructure bill. We support a $2 trillion bill, if we did that as we were scheduled to do earlier this year, but it got sidetracked by politics of this administration, we wouldn't have this conversation. We'd be talking about lots of money coming here, especially money for returning cars to Main Street," claims Higgiins. He says the application process become more aggressive without such a bill.
