(WBEN) - Bills fans are getting in to Houston throughout the day, and getting ready for a party Friday night.
Over the past eight years, Christian's Tailgate in Midtown Houston has become the official Bills Bar for the area, and now it's ground zero for Bills fans from across the country who made the trip.
"We usually have a big crown of about 50 to 100 people at Christian's Tailgate," said Joe Driscoll, one of the main organizers of the Houston Bills Backers. "The place went nuts when we found out that the Bills were coming here. We love our Bills down here."
So you know that when a rare Bills playoff game just happens to be in Houston, the place is getting ready for a huge party.
"We're blocking off the street, we're bringing food trucks, we've got live music outside, the local beer distribution company is bringing three 18-wheelers full of cans," said Mazen Baltagi, owner of Christian's Tailgate. "We don't know what to expect, but I can tell you we're not going to run out of beer."
How can we be sure that's the case? Baltagi seems ready for legions of fans.
"Is it safe to say 10,000 people?" Baltagi asked. "I'm trying to warn all the other business owners around me that I don't think you guys know what's about to happen in this area on Friday night, and hopefully Saturday after the game if Buffalo wins it's going to be crazy."
