Cheektowaga, N.Y. (WBEN) - What do throngs of Buffalo Bills fans do at the airport waiting for their playoff-bound team to arrive at 2am? Sing Christmas carols of course!
As hundreds of fans lined the fence that would be the only thing separating them from the jet carrying their winning team and themselves, the Bills Mafia was singing Christmas carols to pass the time as they awaited their heros. "Jingle Bills, Jingle Bills" was the twist on the lyrics that caught on quickly as fans were celebrating their team making the playoffs for the second time during the Sean McDermott era in three seasons.

December 16, 2019 "This is a validation of the last twenty years", one fan told WBEN as he stood and watched as the Bills left in their vehicles one by one. "It means a lot, not to me, but to this city", one fan exclaimed. "It's emotional", he added.
"Twenty-six years I wait for this moment, oh my God I'm so psyched", said Bills fan Jason as he awaited the players to leave one by one. He watched as Frank Gore passed by and reached out and shook his hand. "Screw work tomorrow, this is bigger than that", exclaimed Jason as he huddled with friends and celebrated the arrival of his team.
As Cheektowaga and NFTA Police watched on closely, fans lined both sides of the driveway leading out of the Air Cargo terminal and cheered and screamed as players went by. The loudest cheers went up as quarterback Josh Allen drove by in his pickup truck, waving to emotional fans.
