Amherst, NY (WBEN) - Beginning Thursday night, shopping malls, bowling alleys, and amusement parks across the state will have to close their doors.

The order, made by Governor Cuomo, will go in to effect at 8:00 Thursday night. Until now, malls have remained open with reduced hours, though individuals stores have made the decision to close up shop. Bowling alleys have taken similar action.

The rule makes an exception for stores connected to malls that have an outside entrance, such as Dick's Sporting Goods and Best Buy at the Galleria Mall. Dick's has released a statement saying they are closing doors to all stores across the country for the next two weeks.

The new rules follow state ordered shut-down of all movie theaters, gyms and casinos until further notice. All dine-in service at bars and restaurants is also prohibited, though take-out and delivery service is available. FILL OUT OUT TAKEOUT AND DELIVERY GUIDE HERE!
