Cheektowaga, NY (WBEN) Cheektowaga Police say a man has died from injuries suffered in an assault two weeks ago.
Police say at about 7:45 PM May 15th, Cheektowaga Police Dispatch received a call from Erie County 911. A caller stated to check on a male in the rear of a car at Harlem and Creekside. Police say they located Richard Valenti, 65, of Lancaster, NY in the back of his vehicle and appeared to be a victim of an assault. Valenti was transported to ECMC where he succumbed to his injuries later that evening.
Cheektowaga Police are continuing to investigate.
