Mercy Flight pilot allegedly exposed himself on Halloween

Update: Gray's next court appearance is to-be-determined after an Ellicottville Town Judge recused themself from the case. No time or date has been scheduled.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - A Mercy Flight pilot was charged with multiple violations after he allegedly exposed himself on Halloween night in Ellicottville.

Ellicottville Police said that Greggory Gray allegedly lured three boys into an alley near Dina's Restaurant around 7:30 p.m. that night. He is accused of grabbing one of the boys by the hood, cussing at them, and exposing himself to the mother of one of the boys. When the woman confronted him, he ran away. He was later found at a bar by police.

Gray, 48, did not expose himself to the boys according to the police report. The woman who pressed the charges against him said that he was leaning against a tree and was not urinating and that "he was just standing there with it out".

It is not clear why Gray allegedly yelled at the boys who were trick-or-treating.

Gray was charged with three counts of second degree harassment and one count of exposure of a person.

Mercy Flight released the following statement to WIVB

“We are disappointed to hear that one of our employees is subject to the allegations such as those placed against Mr. Gray. Understanding that there are two or more sides to every story, we will await the results of the judicial process after which time we will determine the consequences, if any that Mr. Gray may or may not be subject to as this situation relates to Mercy Flight’s Code of Conduct Policy.During his tenure Mr. Gray has maintained an exemplary employment record.”
