Niagara Falls, NY (WBEN) The Niagara County DA's office says there is an investigation into the death of a three month old girl.
The girl, A'laya Foster, died of blunt force trauma according to her mother, who says the girl was in the care of a babysitter.
Niagara Falls Police are not commenting on the investigation itself, except only to confirm. "The reason that there has been no comment to date is because there is no additional information we are comfortable releasing without impairing the investigation. We will not comment on the name(s) or number of suspects/witnesses. We will not comment on the manner in which the child was injured. We will not comment on the nature or severity of the injuries," says Capt, Kelly Rizzo in a statement.
