NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WBEN) - While health officials in Niagara County remain on alert for coronavirus, they are not worried that the high number of tourists will have an impact on how much of the county is affected.

Stapleton said the county will continue to get the word out to the public about the evolving outbreak.

In the meantime, Stapleton and other health leaders across the state will convene in Albany this week to ensure that everyone is prepared for the outbreak.

As of Tuesday, there have been two confirmed cases of coronavirus in New York State and two families from Buffalo are being tested for the virus after a visit to Italy.
