AMHERST (WBEN) - On Tuesday afternoon, Amherst officials and members of the WS Development team joined together for a ceremonial groundbreaking of Station 12 - a shopping plaza intended to bring retail into a new age.
"It is a really pleasant pedestrian experience with wider sidewalks, really nice landscaping," he began. "In this project, we will have a central green where we have many many events every week where we engage with the community. We'll have tenants that are very engaging, so in every way possible, if you're in retail today, you need to engage with your customer."
As for a timeline, Sciera says they'll be delivering space to their tenants by mid-summer of next year, and they plan on opening stores a little less than a year from now.
