BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - A plaque to commemorate the original western end point of the Erie Canal was dedicated on Wednesday at Canalside.

Joel Dombrowski, who operates Double Decker Bus Tours in Buffalo, said that the plaque represents Buffalo's renaissance because of the region's past dependence on the canal.
