BUFFALO (WBEN - Kellie Scanlon) - One person was injured after falling through two stories of a nine-story building in downtown Buffalo.

October 31, 2019 Construction was taking place at 290 Main Street when heavy materials were brought onto a slate platform causing it to collapse from the excessive weight, according to a person who was at the scene that did not want to speak on the record.
A city spokesperson said that the injured person was taken to ECMC with non life threatening injuries.
Building inspectors are investigating the accident.
