Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Congressman Tom Reed says Bills Mafia was forced into a new tailgate village introduced by the team this week.
In a statement, Reed says, "Yet another out of touch move by Roger Goodell and the NFL. We care about safety, but forcing hardworking fans to pay to tailgate? This hurts Bills fans I represent who travel in groups to go to the game. Aren't game tickets already expensive enough? Maybe the NFL should pick up the tab for 'Tailgate Village.'”
This week the Bills unveiled a new plan to have fans in buses and limos tailgate away from their vehicles on game days. They would be required to buy a pass at an additional rate of $15 per fan.
Fans would also require a game ticket to enter Tailgate Village.
