BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - School budget votes were held across Western New York Tuesday.
Some districts have reported results, but not all. Due to mail-in ballots, because of the coronavirus pandemic, it could be days before all of the results are in.
These districts in Erie and Niagara counties approved budgets:

Lackawanna
Lewiston-Porter
Maryvale
Niagara Falls City Schools
Niagara Wheatfield
North Collins
North Tonawanda
Orchard Park
Royalton Hartland
Starpoint
Sweet Home
Tonawanda (City of)
Voters in at least one district rejected a budget. Cheektowaga Central voters defeated the proposed budget by 49 votes. Cheektowaga's proposed $47.24 million dollar budget called for a 3% increase.

According to New York State United Teachers, 99 percent of school budgets are on track to win approval by voters. NYSUT reviewed 388 school budget votes and found that 383 passed. Just five were defeated.
