Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Two members of New York's delegation in Washington have differing views on US tariffs against China.
"It's a lose lose, and if we let China take advantage of us, we'll lose more wealth, money and jobs than if we successfully go after them," notes Schumer.
Higgins admits while the US needs to crack down on China, investments must be made as well. "All that techonlogy was developed by taxpayer funded research, and billions of smartphones are made in China. We have to learn to make the phones here, do the innovation and manufacture them in WNY and in the US," notes Higgins.
