BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - "I didn't hear anything, but I can tell you that there were 18 to 20 notifications this morning from North Buffalo, to Amherst, to Tonawanda about several loud bangs in a row." The notifications came in between 2:30am and 2:35am.
"Our officers found no evidence of shots being fired, nor did they find evidence of explosions or fires, or power outages or underground electrical issues," said Rinaldo.
He said police are still investigating the source of the explosions. "If anyone sees property damage or utility damage, they should call 911 so we can address it. Generally in these situations there is some type of damage," he said.
