Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - There's nothing like LIVE and local radio. If you caught the end of the Sandy Beach show Monday morning, you heard Sandy pop the question to his longtime girlfriend Bernadette Pawlak.
"I think you should organize one more thing for me," said Sandy. "Uh Oh," was Bernie's response.
Beach: "I think you should organize your wedding,"
Bernie: "Mine?"
Beach: "You know I can't get down on my knees, but I will ask you plain and simply, Will you marry me?"
(Pause and Gasp here)
"Nobody knew I was going to say that," said Beach. "Not a single person in the world knew it. I thought this was ideal. I made up my mind some time ago. I was just looking for the right time to say it," said Beach.
She said YES!
"She will be a wonderful addition to our family," said Beach's sister Sandra.
