Buffalo, NY (WBEN) With COVID19 on the minds of everyone these, how are we to handle all the other medical situations we find ourselves in? Many are wondering if they should still go to an urgent care facility for a non-COVID19 issue, like a minor illness, cut or sprain. Experts say ask some questions.
Chow says it's also a good idea to call ahead and ask if they're still seeing non-COVID19 patients. "We dedicated a facility on Niagara Falls Boulevard to non-COVID patients, where it's more occupational health and injury type visits," says Chow who adds WNY Immediate also dedicated a second facility on Transit Road in Depew.
There's one other benefit. "It keeps you at home, it keeps you socially isolated so you minimize your risk of COVID19 and for the doctors as well," adds Curtis.
