BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - "The Simpsons" poked fun at Buffalo and all of Upstate New York on Sunday.
The show, which on Sunday aired its 21st episode of its 30th season called "D'oh Canada", showed the Simpsons driving through Upstate New York and lamenting how there's a bankrupt Sears, a Circuit City overrun by wild dogs, and remarking that Upstate New York can never decline because it was never that great.

Homer Simpson then broke out into a song to the tune of Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York" making fun of Upstate New Yorkers for their love of beer, chicken wings. It even showed Homer eating at Anchor Bar, sitting at a Buffalo Bills game (with just one other fan), mascots representing opioids and lotto tickets dancing, potholes (craters), before ending with Homer driving into the City of Buffalo, which was then crushed by snow.
"Benedict Arnold fought here, Baby!" Homer said.
How will the episode paint the picture of Buffalo?
"I was very impressed with some of the intricate accuracies of some of their depictions in the cartoon of City Hall and Anchor Bar," he said.
One minor thing Kaler pointed out as incorrect was the cartoon's portrayal of Western New York as "Upstate New York".
"I was strongly corrected (five years ago) that we are Western New York and not Upstate New York," Kaler said.
