(WBEN) Police in Lackawanna dealing with a standoff Saturday afternoon on Lebanon Street. It started as a domestic disoute until 27-year old Christopher Marchese barricaded himself in the house with his wife and baby girl.
Police and the Erie County Sheriffs Swat Team convinced him to let his wife and child out but he remained inside for a number of hours until early evening. Reports are that the wife was injured and reportedly had been choked into unconsciousness.
Eventually tear gas was used and Marchese gave himself up. He's been charged with unlawful imprisonment and assault.
