Cheektowaga, NY (WBEN) A substitute teacher and coach from John F. Kennedy High School in Cheektowaga is charged with child porn possession.

April 16, 2019 Federal prosecutors say 33 year old Steven Gasiorek was arrested after sheriff's deputies in Virginia contacted Cheektowaga Police regarding a 14 year old victim who deputies say had been chatting with a person with an Instagram account LEXIGURL1015. Prosecutors say Gasiorek used that profile to pose as a teenage girl from California. Prosecutors say the 14 year old male victim sent pornographic images of himself to Gasiorek through the Instagram account.
A search warrant was executed at Gasiorek's home and investigators seized a laptop that contained several child porn images. Prosecutors say Gasiorek may have been involved for years.
"Subsequent investigation suggests that the defendant had been engaged in this pattern of behavior for a number of years and may have victimized a number of minor victims," said United States District Attorney JP Kennedy. "For that reason, we're here today, joined by the FBI and the Cheektowaga Police Department, to ask that anyone who has information or may have been communicating with this Instagram account, please contacted the FBI taskforce."
