Teen Rescued in Buffalo House Fire

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) - A teenager was taken to the hospital after an early morning house fire in the City of Buffalo.

Buffalo Firefighters rescued a 13-year old girl from the home on Leroy Avenue near Kensington after they ran in to the building without fire hoses shortly after 4:00 Thursday morning.

Fire investigators say the cause of the blaze appears to be accidental.Buffalo fire officials say a 13 year old female is in critical condition at Children's Hospital. Investigators say four other family members made it safely out of the two story residence.

Investigators say damage is estimated at $150,000.
