Catholic Health is positioned to become the sole owner of Sterling Surgical Center LLC. The healthcare system has filed with the New York State Department of Health to take over the 60 percent of shares it doesn't own. No financial terms of the deal were announced.
Representatives from Whitesand Family LP will meet with the Buffalo Zoning Board of Appeals April 17th. Business First reports the group hopes to get approval for height and lot size variances for a proposed $10 million project that includes the former JP Bullfeathers property on Elmwood Avenue. Buffalo Planning Board approval would also be required.
