Today is the final day for submissions to the 2020 Buffalo Niagara Business Ethics Awards.  The awards are given out to small, medium and large-sized companies in the eight counties of Western New York.  The mission of the BNBEA is to foster, promote and recognize ethical business practices throughout the Western New York community.  Nominations can be made at BNBEA.org   

The boot is being replaced by the Barnacle.  Starting November 1st, Allpro Parking, LLC will begin deploying the Barnacle® as their preferred method of parking enforcement.  The device attaches to a car windshield, rendering it inoperable.  Instructions on the device allow for online payment or by phone.  The driver is then responsible for returning the device to a drop box next to the Allpro Parking office.

The McGuire Group's Garden Gate Health Care Facility in Cheektowaga was rated 8th out of more than 600 New York-based nursing facilities in Newsweek’s annual Best Nursing Homes ranking released this week.  McGuire's other five facilities made the top 40 on that list.

R. A. Mercer & Co., P.C. has hired Tara Perkins as a staff accountant.  She will work out of the firm’s Springville and Sardinia locations.
