Tops Friendly Markets held a ribbon-cutting to mark the completion of a $2 million dollar renovation at its Ken-Ton store located at 1740 Sheridan Drive. This is the fifth renovation in 2019 for the supermarket chain and is part of Tops' $40 million dollar capital improvement program.
Referencing the FDIC's 2019 deposit market share report, Business First reports that 23 banking institutions in Buffalo held a combined $52.21 billion in deposits on June 30th. That figure is up 8.2 percent from June 30th of last year. Buffalo-based M&T Bank is the dominant deposit-holder, with $29.98 billion in local deposits.
