Local gas prices saw a slight uptick this week. The AAA reports the current average for a gallon of unleaded in the region costs $2.51 - up a penny from last week. The statewide average of $2.59 remained unchanged from a week ago.
The YMCA Buffalo Niagara is considering a 12,000-square-foot expansion at its largest branch site. That project has a few "ifs" attached, according to Business First. Northwest Bancshares, Inc. has completed its merger with Donegal Financial Services Corporation. The completion of the merger has resulted in a bank with approximately $10.1 billion in total assets, providing banking services through 182 locations and 205 ATMs in three states. The transaction has expanded Northwest's franchise by 12 offices in Lancaster County in eastern Pennsylvania.
