The Buffalo & Erie County Industrial Land Development Corp. has purchased the former site of the Eden-Angola Airport and an adjacent parcel in the town of Evans. The plan is to transform the 240 acre site into an agribusiness park.
Buffalo-based ACV Auctions has announced the acquisition of ASI, an automotive inspection services company. This deal makes ACV one of the largest vehicle inspector teams in the country with reach in every state. Terms of the agreement were not made public.
NOCO Energy has created a sustainability division within its commercial and residential heating, ventilating and air conditioning business based in Akron, New York. The new division will focus on working with customers in the installation of energy efficiency heating and cooling units and equipment, energy efficiency consulting, LED lighting and other measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Earlier this month, local law firm, Fromen Attorneys at Law donated more than 4,500 lunches to show appreciation for frontline healthcare workers across Western New York. The firm distributed lunches to ECMC, Buffalo General, Kenmore Mercy and Sister's Hospital through Buffalo's Best Catering.
