A plan by People, Inc. to convert Blocher Homes in Williamsville into an affordable housing development from an assisted living facility continues to move forward.  Business First reporting the village planning board awarded both site-plan and architectural-review approvals.  Once funding is secured, the project would see 93 units, including 20 set aside for people with disabilities, in three, two-story buildings.

Northland Workforce Training Center has established multiple new community partnerships to provide valuable expanded services to students, and upskilling opportunities for incumbent workers.  Through these partnerships, NWTC's student success services will now include access to a professional employment agency, financial empowerment training, smoking cessation education, and advanced training for incumbent workers.


Zoom Copy of Buffalo is scoring points with yard signs.  As Business First notes, the company is behind the Allen/Diggs signs beginning to outnumber those for the two Presidential candidates.  Those signs are also now being shipped across the country to Bills fans.
