Fort Erie Race Track Planning On "Dogging It" This Summer

Michigan-based investment firm Pachyderm Properties LLC has reportedly paid $4.446 million for three Sherwin-Williams stores.  Business First says those stores are on Ridge Road in West Seneca, Sheridan Drive in the Town of Tonawanda, and Transit Road store in Amherst.  All three stores remain open.

Fort Erie Race Track is bringing back its successful weiner dog race this summer.  In fact, that success has led to the track adding a basset hound race day.  Business First reports the wiener dog race will be held August 11th.  The basset hound race is set for September 15th.


KeyCorp reported net income for common shareholders of 45 cents per share, for the last quarter.  That's up from seventeen cents per share for the period a year ago.

M&T Bank's net income for common shareholders came in at $3.76 per share - a mark that beat projections.  

The Department of Labor finding that employment for the Buffalo metropolitan area made modest gains in December.  7,400 private-sector positions were added last month, an increase of 1.5 percent from a year ago.
